Please read our adoption policy, then email us for an application. We don't adopt outside of BC.

 

Our reptiles are available as pets only, none are suitable for breeding. Adoption fees are species specific and help to cover the cost of food, supplies and medical care.

 

If we don't have a reptile or amphibian listed that you're interested in, let us know and we can place you on a wait list.

We purge all wait list emails after 6 months, please contact us again if you would still like to wait.
 

 

 

08-66 Green Iguana

Age: 5 years

Sex: male

Kiwi was an owner surrender. He's going to be a big boy, he's 4' long now. He is eating like a champ and always uses his water as a bathroom making clean up easy. Kiwi is very friendly in his habitat, will stand on his hind legs to get his chest rubbed. He is quite flighty when out and wants to run free.

  10-26 Bearded Dragon

Age: adult

Sex: male

This guy was a stray so there is no known history. He has a large scar on his head and was quite thin when he came in. He is eating well and putting on weight. He will be available by the end of June. 

10-07 Red-eared Slider

Age: 1 year (?)

Sex: female

This girl was left behind in an apartment when her owner moved out. She is very curious of her surroundings.

  10-29 Spotted Python

Age: 9 years

Sex: unknown

Fluffy was an owner surrender. He was not handled a lot so is a bit on the nervous side when held. He will be available by the end of June.

 

10-38 Red-eared Slider

Age: adult

Sex: female

This girl is the last of many sliders that came in when the Stanley Park farmyard got shut down. We have no history on her. 

 

.10-30 Corn snake

Age: adult

Sex: unknown

This guy is quite nice to handle. He will be available by the end of June.

Age: 17 years

Sex: female

Bonnie came to us through the SPCA. It appears she hasn't shed well over the years, we're still working on her.

 

 07-58 Ball Python *Adoption pending*

Age: adult

Sex: unknown

Mozza has taken a very long time to get eating regularly, a change of habitat has made him happier. He is happily taking f/t rats every 10 days. He is a nice snake to handle and always curious.

 

10-02 Savannah Monitor 

Age: 5 years

Sex: unknown

Bruno is a big boy and not yet full grown, he is quite nice and very gentle when tong fed his f/t mice.

08-15 Turner's Gecko 

Age: 3 years

Sex: male

Turner's Geckos are commonly mistaken as Bibron's Geckos, they're very similar.

Charlie is a no-touch gecko, he is curious and active but will bite when handled.

 

 

09-42 Ball Python 

Age: 4.5 years

Sex: female

Nina was an owner surrender and said to have a July 2005 hatch date. She is nice to handle, sheds well and eats f/t rats every 2 weeks with no issues.

 

09-15 Red-eared Slider

Age: 15 years

Sex: male

Buddy is quite a nice slider and gets excited when we approach his tank. He does not enjoy the company of other sliders though, he will bite them. Buddy is currently being fostered at the Burnaby Lake Nature House.

  10-35 Bearded Dragon

Age: young

Sex: male

This guy was a stray so there is no known history. He was found in a garden in Vancouver. He will be available by the end of June.

 

08-03 Diamondback Water snake

Age: under 5 years

Sex: unknown

Neil is still growing which suggests he is still young, most likely under 5 years. He is more of a display snake as he doesn't really enjoy being handled. Neil's food of choice is fish but he is taking rat pinks and small mice.

 

10-20 Red-eared Slider

Age: 13 years

Sex: female

Cali was an owner surrender and given up when her people were moving out of the country.  Cali needs a home in a large tank, we don't think she will adapt to our cold winter outside.

 

 

09-13 Ball Python 

Age: 3 years

We're still regulating the feeding, he will be available soon.

10-09 Red-eared Slider

Age: 1.5 years

Sex: female

This girl came in with 10-10. They were both owner surrenders. They are really curious and sweet and would love to share a huge tank in their new forever home.

09-37 Kenyan Sand Boa

Age: 6 years

Sex: female

Zhaneel was given up when her people moved to a cold climate and couldn't maintain the temperatures required for reptiles. She is eating one medium f/t mouse about every 10 days.

 

 

09-38 Kenyan Sand Boa

Age: 7 years

Sex: female

Zarra was given up when her people moved to a cold climate and couldn't maintain the temperatures required for reptiles. She is eating one f/t mouse every 2-3 weeks.

 

 09-43 Ball Python

Age: 8 years

Sex: male

Cuervo was given up when his people moved to a cold climate and couldn't maintain the temperatures required for reptiles. He is currently eating f/t rats.

 

09-44 Ball Python

Sex: male

Yves was given up when his people moved to a cold climate and couldn't maintain the temperatures required for reptiles. He is nice to handle, sheds well and eats f/t rats every 2 weeks with no issues.

 

10-19 Cuban Brown Anole

Age: unknown

Sex: unknown

Wally was found in the garden department at Walmart, so likely hitched a ride with a shipment of plants from Florida.  He is strictly a display pet, he is too fast to be handled.

10-24 Golden Gecko

Age: unknown

Sex: unknown

Curry was a stray, there is no known history.  She should not be handled but will sit on your hand in her habitat.

 

09-11 Green Iguana

Age: 5 years

Sex: male

George is a very social Iguana and will greet anyone who comes to say hello. He loves to wander freely but will struggle to avoid being put back in his cage.  George has an old scar from a thermal burn and a bump on his snout from rubbing his nose in chicken wire.

 

10-01 Leopard Gecko

Age: 7.5 years

Sex: male

Paco originally came to us in 2006, he was adopted to wonderful home who took excellent care of him. Circumstances brought him back to us in January this year and he is now ready for another new home.

09-27 Ball Python

Age: 8 years

Sex: ?

Molly was housed with a Carpet Python all her life. She isn't very big, most likely due to the stress of sharing her home and infrequent meals. She should be available in the spring.

09-64 Boa Constrictor

Age: 4 years (?)

Sex: unknown

Janus is a lovely Boa, he is easy to handle but is very curious of his surroundings.  He is always looking for a way out of his habitat so an extremely secure, locking enclosure is necessary.  We don't know his history so are guessing at his age.

A permit will be necessary if Janus grows to 3 meters.

 

 

09-62 Dumeril's Boa

Age: 2 years (?)

Sex: unknown

This guy was left behind with no heat or water when his owner moved out. He was ice cold and cranky when he came in. He is warmed up now but is refusing to eat. We hope to have him available in the spring.

 

   10-14 California King snake

Age: 7 years

Sex: unknown

Hershey is very small for his age due to irregular feeding. He has no issues eating though. He is one of many reptiles that came to us from the Stanley Park farmyard when they closed the reptile and bird building. He was never handled until he came here so he is still nervous and rattles his tail but has not struck or bitten us.

  10-16 Green Iguana

Esmeralda is quite a nice girl and enjoys interaction. She is one of many reptiles that came to us from the Stanley Park farmyard when they closed the reptile and bird building. She was never handled until she came here so it was surprising how social she is.

 

09-39 Kenyan Sand boa

Sex: unknown

This wee snake came in with his 2 siblings below.  He was given up when her people moved to a cold climate and couldn't maintain the temperatures required for reptiles. He is eating 2-3 f/t small pink mice each week.
